Full Name: Seto Koji

If you’re a fans of tokusatsu series, you’ll recognize this guy as Wataru Kurenai, the main character in Kamen Rider Kiva. However, Setomaru starts his career on one year training in the comedy drama “Rocket Boys” as the main protagonist. After winning the 2nd wining Award of Watanabe’s Entertainment’s official 2nd D Boys audition on 31 July 2005, he then joined the energetic boy band, D-Boys. He’s currently singing under the unit group called D☆DATE.
 
 
For that reason, Setomaru moves from his hometown in Fukuoka and lives in Tokyo. He’s been living there for 17 years (born on May 18 1988). The A blood type guy was given the role of Kikumaru Eiji for Tennis no Oujisama Musical (Tenimyu) by the same time he start working on DBoys. he’s the third Kikumaru cast for the musical where he work with fellow D Boys’ member, Tomo and Masato Wada. Now you know why he is called “Setomaru”, right?

Given the role in tenimyu and tokusatsu series is a good step to be great. In 2007, Setomaru plays Shitsuji (Butler) in Happy Boys. He also played the otaku boy friend for DVD only release movie, “Tonari no 801 chan” at the same year.

PERSONAL LIFE

Setomaru is the oldest among three. His first sister, Saori is one year younger. She’s currently working as a model (mostly for Nonno). They also another younger sister named Arisa *thanks for the info Alex*

SINGING CAREER

As singer, Setomaru join several groups like D-Boys, Tetrafang (the group who sing OST for Kiva) and duet with takiguchi Yukihiro for Musical best Actor Series Takiguchi Yukihiro as Oishi Shuuichiro and Seto Koji as Kikumaru Eiji. His latest project is D☆DATE, the idol group consists of 4 members: Araki Hirofumi, Igarashi Shunji, Setomaru and Horii Arata.

  2. well to tell the truth yes in my eye it’s bcuz of him cuteness but in my heart it’s buz of the character that he had which make me fall for him.. that why i really adore him.. ^o^

    • Character? Which character are you talking about? I mean, he’s done various kind of role (and that’s why I think he’s a great actor). I personally love him as Wataru Kurenai.

    • Are you talking about Bump of Chicken’s namida no furusato? It’s a cute song. and it’s cuter when Setomaru sing it.
      I don’t wacth Koizora the dorama, I only watch the movie (Haru-chan’s Koizora), because I can’t handle too melodramatic entertainment. ha ha ha
      But, I’ve seen him singing namida no furusato in youtube.
      so sweet.
      I’ve been looking too, but I can’t find the whole version of the song. However, you can find the original version (Bump of Chicken) in 4shared

    • Of course! I love Satoru!!! But, I don’t really like the hair. He looks cute with Hiro’s hair (Koizora) or Wataru’s hair (Kiva).

    • Actually, I haven’t either. I’m still looking for companion to watch it. It’s a horror movie, right. And all my friends are afraid of it. hiks hiks.

    • Well, he plays a cute freshman who adores the main character Masamune Asuka. He always been bullied because of his girly face (OMG…I love his face…look at the picture…isn’t he cute?). He also likes to fantasizing. He he he
      It’s very funny when he dreams himself as Genji (Crows Zero..have you watch the movie? It’s very recommended. But, Setomaru doesn’t play any role there. It’s a movie starred by Shun Oguri).
      Ahh..I will watch him again tonight (for the 3rd time…)

    Indeed – but he also has 2nd sister (even younger than both Koji&Sao) – named Arisa :) And Sao works mostly with ‘Nonno” model agency.
