Riku’s wish to lead a normal life is fading away since she met Tachibana Ran. As a son of a wealth family, Ran used to have what he wants. He has a love at first sight for Riku. He even propose her on their second meeting. Of course Riku rejects. She’s still traumatized over a boy’s rejection few years ago. She’s not a normal girl, thanks to her atletic body. She can jump savely from 3rd floor. I think that’s what make Ran fall for her.
It’s too bad, the theme is good, but the plot is so boring. There are a lot of empty and over reacted scenes so the rest of the manga is really boring. I stop after 10th page!

6 children and a cat were caught in a fire accident at a temple. They managed to rescue a sacred box. God promised to give the present on their 13th birthday.
Years later, they reunite in Rental Club. It’s a club consists of competent people who rent their participation in other club. They can’t wait to get the gift. Misora is the first who receive the present. She is now able to move thing without touching it for 5 cm far. Her cat, Bake, who celebrates his birthday the next day, has the ability to talk like human.
Miyako can predict future once a day. Kasuga can find thing under radius 300 m. Ryu can see someone’s wife for the next 3 years. Munakata can find metal. He use it to find money in the sand, but he can only collect coins. And the last one is Kouta who can teleport.
Unfortunately, they’re not the only one blessed with the super power. Nogami brothers are having it too, only they’re using it for their personal satisfaction. They even hurt people. This is the enemy Misora and her friends should fight!
Well, it’s Adachi Mitsuru’s work. It’s pretty short for me.

imperfection is the true beauty
Homare is only a victim. Since her parents can’t pay their
debt to Mr. Ichinokura, they leave her in his care. However, the only people happy about this arrangement are Mr. Ichinokura and Homare. The 3 sons of Mr.Ichinokura are against it.
Homare is out of their taste. She’s also clumsy and careless. Moreover, she had a crush on Masamune, the first son. Homare can sneak into his bed. She also try making breakast for Masamune, only it ends with kitchen explosion. hua ha ha
Masamune: Ok, I forgive you
Homare: Really?
Masamune: I’ll try to forget what happen this morning
Homare: Ja, let’s kiss
Buaaaaaaaaaaaaakkkkkkkkkk.
This is the typical manga from Morinaga Ai sensei. I can’t stop laughing. I like this homare girl. Even though she’s clumsy, she’s a bright student. Nobody’s perfect, right?

Jinco has an ability to see ghost. Ghosts are coming to see her just to talk about their problem. It’s become so natural that Jinco never bothered to see them. Her fans are increasing from time to time. They even help her in her mission. The one who always take care of her is Fukumimi. Jinco doesn’t know that spirit’s name, so she call him as she seen his big ears. Fukumimi resembles that great great grandfather of her. I think you can call him the protecting spirit.
She also has another amazing ability: eating much. How much is too much? You should ask her mother who always complain that the monthly allowance is never enough to fulfill her daughter’s. Hearing that, Jinco decides to take part time job. She can’t be dieting right? She needs energy after seeing so many spirits.
Despite of the theme, this is a very cute manga. I think it’s because of the drawing. It’s very…shoujo: cute and clear. The story is so funny because Jinco take everything so natural. This is the kind of book I want on my bookshelf. Furthermore, it’s only 3 books long!

Ever since the first mouse appeared in full moon 2000 years ago, many animals had been turned into new breed human-animal mix. Toraji is one of them. He used to be Rio’s pet. When Magic Mouse took Rio, he also turned Toraji into cat mix.
Pai Yan, Rio’s father, is one of the 7 heroes who had been fighting mouse for years. When he found out that his son is kidnapped, Pai Yan travels to find the Magic Mouse.
Adapting to be human is not easy for Toraji and Pai Yan. Pai Yan is always angry when Toraji acts like cat who always sleep and let his fur everywhere. On the other side, Toraji doesn’t like to be human. He scares when Pai Yan yells at him.
However, the journey gives both of them lesson. Pai Yan learns how to take care of a son, something he never done before. That’s why his wife left because he never come home. While Toraji starts learning how life would be if he had a father (like Pai Yan?).

I actually doesn’t like Tamura Yumi sensei for her dark scary drawing. But, I can’t stop reading her work. I follow 7 Seed (Oh, please finish it before you start another story!!) and now this Toraji. There’s something magic in the way she tells story.

Sakamichi Onoda is just an otaku. When he enters highschool, he hopes to join the anime club. Unfortunately, due to the lack of member, that club has been dismissed. In order to bring back the club alive, Onoda starts asking people to join.
One day, he gets a challenge from a cool guy named Imaizumi. He saw Onoda rode his bike on that up step road. It’s not easy to do, but Onoda looked so natural doing it. He actually had been doing it since he was at 4th grade. Along with Mamachari –a bulky bicycle with a step-he comes to akiba every week. The road is the shortcut to Akiba, the nirvana for an otaku like him.
Imaizumi tells Onoda that if he won the race, he would join the anime club. And the cool guy is surprise to see Onoda can catch him!
Not a very cute manga, because the drawing is suck. But, the story is cool. Too bad no group has taking it into translation. I guess we just have to wait.

Asahi is in dilemma. She’s not good at neither sport nor team work. She tried joining volleyball team, but it seems that her pace disturbs others. Umi, her best friend, asks her to join badminton club. Asahi hesitates, thinking that she might cause trouble to other members. But, during a match when Asahi asked to substitute the sick member, she shows good talent. The coach thinks she could be a good player, and he’s right. It’s only a month away and now she can challenge Hayakaze Gakuen. Realizing Asahi’s rapid development, Umi is challenged and willing to work harder to improver her skill.
What a great friendship if you can encourage each other to be better and better. The story is so so, though I was hoping some love scenes, but it’s only about badminton. In fact, the friendship smells yuri, as well! hiiiii! Asabuki sensei may have to try mixing many aspects in her future works.

Monju is a sophisticated robot who used to be assigned in Tokyo. After the second generation of his type released, Monju is transferred to a small town. It makes him depressed, because he used to be an elite cop. He has no idea what to do here. The citizens are afraid of his look, kids bullying him and his partner is total jerk. Even so, that playboy partner, Junpei Yamagishi, tries many things to help Monju get along with the citizens. He lets Monju play the hero part rescuing those bullying boys and accompanying the elders on Tokyo trip. Monju’s presence is gradually accepted.
Everybody needs to feel that they’re useful. If not, they’d be depressed. I think I understand what Monju feel. I mean, all those tactical weapon of him could not be used in small town, right? He’s getting rotten. Ha ha ha
Despite of the robot typical theme, this manga is very human. You’ll love it!

Sata Senda has a serious problem with cleanliness. You can call him Mr. Super Clean. He isolates himself from other member of his class just to make sure he gets away from dirt. He protects his body with mask, gloves even plastic shelter. Yeah, he needs help.
For Aiuchi, Senda is a cool guy. He’s gentle and care. He even remembers that Aiuchi is easily getting sick riding bus. For that girl, it’s attractive! She smiles at him like a sun to the earth and it opens Senda’s heart. Even just a little step, he lets her touch him. Wow, that’s an achievement, right? Thanks to that, others are coming to get closer. Senda’s friends are increasing.
Just because you don’t understand him, it doesn’t mean he’s difficult. You just need to get closer to know deeper. I know what we see sometimes fool us, so it’s hard to believe that easy. Though the story is over reacted, but I always like phobia theme.
Touya Tobina sensei may not the best drawer in the world, but she tries her best to visualize this abnormal behavior well. The lines are soft but confident. The background is also composite well. So, it’s ok for me!
