A feeling is a feeling. No matter how far it comes, if it’s right, it can moves heart. That’s the main idea of this manga. And it’s lovely. It makes me cry.
Goro is not an ordinary hero. He’s just a bastard you find in the street. He went to jail for selling porn. He gets big surprise when the police release him: his wife is dead!
He is not remember who she is. But, the gangster he join with has prostitute business. Those girls are illegal worker, unless they marry someone from Japan. Goro is the one they choose to be a fake husband for Phei Lan, a chinese prostitute. But, now she died.
She left a letter for him, a love letter. She said how much she’s grateful to Goro for marrying her. He never felt like doing good thing to her. I mean, she’s dead in the end. But, Phei Lan is very sincere and it touches him.
The love grows, even though they never met….

Shino was raised as a boy since her father wanted a successor so much. She’s good at martial art and girls are crazy about her. But, when she’s 16, he decided to make her marry the boy next door. He asks her to change all the masculine style and be a lady. How can she do that? She’s been living manly way for years. There’s no other way, she just have to run away.
On her journey, she meet Daniel Artwing, an American who work as agriculture teacher in Hokkaido. Luckily, Shino gets on the same ship.
They are in love in the end. But, at that moment the marriage between foreign man and Japanese woman is hard to approve. Japanese woman can stay with her foreign husband as a maid. Shino can take it. Their funky live is about to begin. How can Shino be a good wife while she has no idea how to cook, clean up the house, and household things? But, Artwing is very nice to her and says, ” I’m not marrying you so you can do the house cores.” (WHUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA…..I WANT THAT KIND OF HUSBAND).
This is another Waki Yamato’s perfect work. I’m giving it 5 stars rating.
Aka “Perfect Girl Evolution”. 4 bishonen are living in a big house. They make a deal with the landlady. If they could turn her niece into glorious lady (yamato nadeshiko), then they can live there for free. But, the niece is not an ordinary girl. Sunako Nakahara, her name, has been raised to be anti social person. She hates light and love sm (sadistic and masochist) things. She doesn’t comb her hair, nor make up her face. She’s not like any 15 years old girl.
This is a big challenge for Kyouhei, Takenaga, Yuki and Ranmaru. They try many ways to make Sunako more gentle. It doesn’t seem that any progress has been made so far, but they get to know each other better.

Minamoto no Yoshitsune was well-known as hero at the age of 22. History wrote that time the war between Genji and Heike started again. Those 2 families have become enemy since a long time ago.
Surprisingly, Yoshitsune was raised by Kiyomori (the head of Taira Clan, Heike). He was in love with Yoshitsune mother who was told to be the most beautiful woman at that era. But, soon Hideyori felt afraid of Yoshitsune’s potency and sent him to be a monk.
Yoshitsune started living as Budha’s servant, but he also trained himself. When he was 16, he got out of the temple with great warrior skills. He, then join his brother (from different mother), Minamoto no Yoritomo in Kamakura. Together, they build the strength to avenge their father, Minamoto no Yoshitomo.
However the manga is quite fascinating. The plot takes place in the same era as many historical evidence written. But, the mangaka put special spices in characterization. Yoshitsune here was not really the heir of Genji, but he was just a street performer who really looks like Ushiwakamaru (Yoshitsune’s child name). The real Ushiwakamaru suffers chronic disease, and soon will die. So, his parent asks that street performer,Hyota, to replace his place.
