Also known as Happy Café. This is a story about three young people. Uru Nakamura, 16 yr, is a new part timer at BonHeur (Happy Café). Her mother, whose just married to a young businessman, is a tough woman. She taught her to be able to depend on herself. That’s why Uru tends to keep everything for herself and not wanting to share with her friends.

Her colleagues are two cute guys. Satsuki Shindou (20 yr)the son of café’s owner, is a cold one.

He likes to use his hand in punishing the other employees. But, inside he’s a very warmth person. He loves making cake. His cakes are the key for this business successful.

The other worker is Ichirou Nishikawa.

His father is a doctor and his mother is a designer. He can fell asleep anywhere whenever he feels hungry.

The big story is about teaching Shindou how to be open with others. Along the way, Ichirou also become more calm ( he was the kind of man who had been teased for his good mark). The main character, Uru, has the biggest influence on those two. She was the one who create their smiles. Everyone can predict that Uru soon will fall in love with Shindou, so vice versa. But, those stupid people are hardly recognize their feelings. It makes everyone around so crazy. he he he

One day, Kaya stays in the office until late. Accidentally, she sees her employer making love with one woman. Hey, he’s not only doing that, he also bite her neck. Oh, My God!! The director is a vampire and he’s already killed her!!!!!

Trust is just like a glass. It’s so beautiful but fragile. You can be friends for your whole life, but it only takes seconds to break it.

This manga is about losing trust between friends. There’s a popular game on net named Rabbit Doubt. Yuu and 5 others people created one group of Rabbit game. There’s Eiji, a naughty guy; Haruka, a sexy high school student; Hajime, the cool medical student; Mitsuki, yuu’s friend whose father is a policeman and Rei who was a famous child hypnotist master.

The horror begins when they trapped in a big building without knowing where it is. It was strange, they were in a karaoke pub before, but they woke up in locked rooms. Rei was the first victim. That cause anxiety among them. Their happiness faded away. They start being suspicious.

Tonogai Yoshiki sensei does have great art. And the story is so amazing. I don’t think they have published it in Indonesia, though. But, you can find it in snoopy cool scanlation (http://www.snoopycool.com/manga).

I’m always be a shounen manga fans. The spirit it showed be fill me up. I know many people doesn’t like complicated reading, it makes them dizzy. but, that’s what our brains are for, right?

The latest manga I read is Beck. They’ve been published through 12 volumes in Indonesia. Basically, the story is about going through rock path. I personally think this manga is kinda like Bremen. I just hope the end is not going to be so screw up like that one ( I mean…they finally realize that the main protagonist is an android??? made from every rock star’s essence. Gimme a break!!!)

The best thing I get from Beck is that the main character is just a normal guy, Tanaka Yukio. He spent his 14 years thinking that he would never be someone great. The fate changed when he met Ryusuke Minami, a genius guitarist who lend him that instrument. Later, he was invited to Ryusuke’s band. He finally explore his talent in playing guitar and singing. He thinks he found his place in the world. And that’s gives him passion to move on.

I’m not really impress with the artwork. it’s a guy who made this, so no wonder it’s rough. But, he can illustrate all Rock Gods in detail so I can recognize them (I’m not even a Rock Fan!!!). Salute to Harold Sakuishi Sensei!
